My Work

Sometimes it’s a website. Sometimes it’s a menu, an email or a piece of content. Here are a few examples of what I’ve worked on.

Daily Dish Delivery

Ongoing marketing support for Daily Dish Delivery, a small business based in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. My work includes website updates, menus, email marketing, print materials and analytics. I jump in where needed to help turn ideas and to-do-list items into finished marketing pieces.

Website

I designed and built Daily Dish Delivery’s Wix website around their customers and how they actually use the business. With an audience that includes older adults, I focused on clear navigation, easy-to-read content and making important information like the weekly menu, ordering instructions and delivery details easy to find. Another goal was to give their catering services more visibility and make it easier for customers to see everything Daily Dish has to offer beyond daily lunch delivery.

The website was also designed to support the bigger marketing picture. I connected Google Analytics (GA4) to measure website activity and used QR codes and trackable links to connect print, email and other marketing efforts back to the website. This gave us a better understanding of where visitors were coming from and how they were using the site.

The goal wasn’t just to build a website that looked good. It needed to be useful, easy to navigate and support the different sides of the business.

Catering Menu

Working with the catering information provided by Daily Dish, I designed a four-page menu to better showcase the range of catering they have to offer. With a lot of information to organize, I focused on making it easy to follow, visually appealing and consistent with the Daily Dish brand.

This is also the kind of project I can help other businesses with, whether you need a seasonal menu, service guide, price list or other marketing material turned into something polished and ready to share with your customers.

More Than Lunch

Daily Dish has more to offer beyond daily lunch delivery and larger catering orders. Customers can also order custom cakes, cookies and other treats for smaller gatherings, celebrations or simply when they need something special. Part of my ongoing work is helping make these other sides of the business easier for customers to discover.

Print Marketing

Not everything needs to be digital. Sometimes you just need a menu, flyer, gift certificate, signage or something ready to print. I created this brochure for Daily Dish to use as a handout, giving them a simple way to share what they offer and get their business in front of customers beyond their digital channels.

Lifemark Health Group

Paid Digital Marketing Internship | Atlantic Canada

During my Digital Marketing program at NSCC, I completed a paid internship with Lifemark Health Group, working on marketing projects supporting clinics across Atlantic Canada. My work included developing an eight-week social media calendar and content library, researching clinic services, creating social media content, and designing a 20-page retail product catalogue.

I also completed a digital and social media audit of Atlantic clinics, reviewing their websites and social channels, including clinician bios, service information and other digital content, to identify gaps and help make sure information was accurate, current and consistent.

Working within an established national brand gave me experience following brand guidelines, collaborating with a marketing team, incorporating feedback and creating marketing support that could work across multiple clinic locations.

Blue Nose Marathon

As part of my internship with Lifemark Health Group, I attended the Blue Nose Marathon in Halifax to capture photo and video content on site throughout the event. I documented Lifemark’s involvement, the atmosphere of the weekend and moments happening throughout the event, then used that original content to create a social media reel.

The finished reel was published on Lifemark Health Group’s social channels, giving me hands-on experience taking social content from on-site content capture through to the finished piece.

Swell Coffee Truck

I designed a new menu for Swell Coffee Truck using their existing brand guidelines and visual identity. Working with their established colours, fonts, logos and brand elements, I organized the information into a clear, easy-to-read format while keeping the design consistent with the Swell brand.

The project also included incorporating their loyalty program into the design and organizing the provided menu information so customers could easily scan their options. With the finished menu intended for the coffee truck, readability and clear visual organization were important parts of the design.
